Binghampton University looks to 3D printed pancreas for type 1 diabetes patients

Binghampton University students in New York have attempted to create an artificial pancreas using 3D bioprinting. It is hoped the artificial pancreas could be used to treat type 1 diabetes.Diabetes is a condition that relates to the production of insulin in the pancreas.
