3D printed nose heralds new age of prosthetic body parts
Scientists claimed a breakthrough last night after successfully printing the first ready-to-use 3D body part - a human replica nose made from silicon. The artificial nose paves the way for other printed prosthetics using the same technology which could potentially save the NHS millions of pounds every year by producing body parts five times quicker.
