The University of Adelaide has received a $1.4 million State Government grant to establish the Southern Hemisphere's most advanced metal 3D printing facility and an accompanying research network. While the University to work to ensure the facility is superior to any other below the equator, it is also set to be the only one in Australia accessible by companies on a commercial basis.
